FooGallery PRO Expert and PRO Commerce allow you to create dynamic galleries – these are galleries that update themselves. This is different from the usual galleries built from images in the media library, because these galleries change over time when the datasource changes. We have built a number of different datasources into FooGallery:
- Server Folders
- Media Tags
- Media Categories
- Post Query
- WooCommerce Products * (only available with PRO Commerce)
- Adobe Lightroom *
- Real Media Library *
* these datasources require a 3rd party plugin installed in order to work correctly.
Server Folders
Choose a folder on your server to load images from. This is helpful when you want to upload lots of images in bulk to your server via FTP. The cool part is FooGallery will periodically check the folder for new updates and automatically add the images to your gallery. You can also upload a metadata file to give your images captions.

Media Tags
Choose which tags you want to show in the gallery. Set it once and forget it. No more gallery updates when you upload new images. Just upload and tag, then the images will automatically be added to your gallery.

Media Categories
Similar to tags, but for the media categories taxonomy. Choose which categories should be included in the gallery and they will be kept up to date.

Post Query
You can create a gallery based off a list of posts/pages or any other public post type. The gallery will stay updated as you update your posts automatically.
