FooGallery – The #1 Gallery for developers, freelancers & website owners
FooGallery PRO allows you to add galleries from datasources, one of which is a Post Query. This means you can populate your gallery with featured images from your posts or pages.
A Post Query Gallery can pull in the featured images of your blog posts or the pages on your website. The above gallery uses the featured images of the first 6 posts on our Blog page.
This means that you can create a Posts block using FooGallery Pro. You can set the images to open in a lightbox, like FooBox, much like many of our other galleries. Alternatively, you can set the images to open the blog post, as we’ve done with the above gallery.
You can find out more about how to do this, in this article.
Loading Galleries From Other Sources
FooGallery Pro includes a number of datasources from which you can load galleries. These include Media Tags or Categories, Adobe Lightroom, Real Media Library and Server Folders.
The benefits of loading galleries from another source, include:
- changing, adding or removing images only at the source, which then automatically reflects in the gallery
- easier management of your media, especially if you have a large number of images
You can find out more about loading galleries from other sources in this article.
The feature that allows you to load galleries from another source is only available on FooGallery Pro.
