FooBar has just been updated to version 2.2.1, which brings with it a number of new and improved features. The most notable addition in this update is the HTML Bar, a commonly requested feature, which is now available in FooBar PRO.
Let’s take a look at what you can expect from this update in more detail.
The New HTML Bar
Our latest bar type, included in FooBar PRO, allows users to create slides within the bar using HTML content.
There are various HTML tags allowed, all of which can be used to create content for your bar. These include: div, strong, em, ul, h1-h6, img, br, blockquote, code, and so on. Each section of HTML works as the content for that slide.
You can add or delete slides, and reorder them from within the content builder, allowing you to tailor your bar to suit your needs. Each slide will be displayed in the order shown in the content, and are all santized for security.
Navigation arrows allow users to scroll between slides. You can customize the Prev / Next buttons by choosing the icons and shape, or adjusting the colors. Users will also be able to set the slides to auto-scroll, avoiding the need to do this manually.

FooBar Updates
This latest release also brings with it several improved features and settings.
The size of the Toggle button, used for opening or closing the bar, can be changed. It can also be set to full height which will extend the button over the bar (this is disabled by default). Next, you will see a setting called Balanced; when enabled this balances out the bar’s spacing to accommodate the spacing of the toggle button and thereby centres the content.
You can also now set the Max Content Width, to limit the width of the bar contents.

These updates are available from FooBar version 2.2.1. To make use of the HTML bar, you will need FooBar PRO, while free users can enjoy the other updates with their notification bars.
