FooConvert includes three blocks that are specific to the PRO Widgets:
The Countdown Block
The Countdown block can be used to add a countdown timer to any FooConvert widget (search for and add the countdown block). Alternatively, the Special Offer template comes with the countdown timer already set up.

There are two modes for the Countdown timer: FOMO counts down continuously from the time a visitor first sees the widget; and Specific counts down to a set date and time in the future. With the FOMO countdown, you can also choose how the counter expires. It can either last for the user’s session on the website, or you can choose for it to persist so that once the timer has run down for a user, the widget will not display again.

Other settings include whether the block should close on expiry, and the text position (either under the numbers or in line with them). For more details read our article on using the countdown timer.
The Coupon Block
The Coupon block allows you to add a a copy and paste coupon code to a widget, which visitors can then use to redeem your offer. Below is an example of an Exit Intent offer with the coupon block added.

The block is simple to set up and can be added to any widget, but is included already in the predesigned Smart Exit Offer template. In the Coupon block, simply add the coupon or promo code in the space provided. You can also adjust the ‘Claim Now!’ copy to suit your needs, and change the button layout and alignment.

Once a user clicks on the button to copy the code, the block will display a success message, such as ‘Copied!’. You can then choose to close the widget on copy, so that users can then use the coupon code without having to also dismiss the widget.

The Sign Up Block
The Sign Up block allows you to capture leads from your widgets. Again this can be added to any widget, but is included in the predesigned Digital Download Signup and Newsletter Signup templates.

The block includes fields for name and email, or you can select to show email only. You are also able to add a success message, and choose to close the widget on a successful sign up.

Once a user signs up using this block, the subscriber’s details are stored in FooConvert under the Leads tab. Here you can see the email address and name (if requested), along with the widget and page from which the lead was gathered. You can then export leads to your chosen mailing list.
