We are looking for a freelance WordPress developer to join ranks with the FooPlugins team. We need someone who can work hard and help us build amazing WordPress plugins. Do you think you have what it takes?

What is FooPlugins?

FooPlugins builds easy-to-use WordPress plugins that are focused on giving our customers what they need. Our two major plugins are FooGallery and FooBox.

FooGallery is a responsive WordPress Gallery Plugin. It comes as a free version, which allows our users to build beautiful, customizable image galleries. The Pro version does this, and a whole lot more. It includes advanced functions such as importing video, filtering and loading galleries from other sources.

FooBox is a responsive WordPress lightbox plugin. The free version allows you to open image files in a lightbox. The Pro version opens images, html, video and more in a lightbox. FooBox works out of the box, and the Pro version gives you advanced customization options. This plugin works seamlessly with FooGallery.

Developing FooPlugins

We are growing. Our plugins are constantly being developed and improved upon. But we are a small team, and we simply don’t have the time to do everything we want to do. That’s where you come in!

We need a freelance WordPress developer that can help us improve and develop our plugins. There are a number of features that we would like to build into FooGallery and FooBox, and we need a developer to help us do that. We are looking for someone that meets the below criteria:

  • Experience with WordPress Plugin Development (proof in your Github profile).
  • Javascript + CSS development is an optional bonus.
  • Must be able to work remotely.
  • Must play well with others. While you will be freelancing, you’ll also be working closely with the rest of the team. Excellent communication is important!
  • Excellent time-management skills.

What we’re offering:

In exchange for your time and expertise, we’re offering fair remuneration. We will need to put you to the test, though. So expect to start off with a number of smaller projects. If you’re up to the task, we’ll throw some more work (and bigger projects) your way.

With any project, we will clearly outline our expectations in terms of what the work entails, how long it should take and what we think it’s worth. You can then sign off, or negotiate as you see fit. Once you’ve agreed to terms, you’ll need to complete the work.

Things we like:

  • Regular communication on progress, problems, etc.
  • Regular progress updates.
  • The completed work, done on time and up to standard.

Things we don’t like:

  • No communication
  • Sub-standard work
  • Excuses
