Responsive Data Tables jQuery Plugin

FooTable jQuery Plugin Version 3 Released – Even More Awesome Responsive Data Tables

It’s been almost three years since our FooTable jQuery plugin first went public. If you’re not familiar, it’s a responsive data table plugin. We were lucky enough to have an introductory post published on CSS-Tricks.com and we credit that visibility to the extremely wide adoption of FooTable that we still see today. A lot has changed in those three years and we’ve been anxious to make this post for a long time. We’re very pleased to report that FooTable v3 has been released and it’s available free right here. This is a major update from the previous version and makes creating responsive data tables even easier and more satisfying for … Read more…

Important FooBox Update

We recently released v2.3.2.24 of FooBox and inadvertently introduced a small bug that affected the Facebook sharing feature. We’ve just released v2.3.2.25 with a fix. You’ll want to update as soon as possible to ensure your FooBox lightbox content is shared properly on Facebook. As always, you can use the auto update feature from your WordPress Dashboard Updates->Check Again area or as a download from your FooPlugins.com account. Please update now to ensure that Facebook sharing works as expected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

What FooGallery Extensions or Gallery Templates Would You Like?

Our free FooGallery plugin has seen a massive adoption rate over the past 6 months and for that we are truly grateful. We built FooGallery as an extensible plugin that can accept extensions and gallery templates as addons to the core plugin, some free and some paid. It’s now your turn to guide the direction of what addons come next for FooGallery. We’re requesting to hear from you to ensure we are building what you want and need. The simple form below is one method we’re using to gain insight from users of FooGallery and the community as a whole. … Read more…

Two New Features Added to FooGallery Plugin

FooGallery 1.2.4 has been pushed to the WordPress plugin repository and along with several enhancements, tweaks and bug fixes, we’ve added two new features requested by our users. Sort Order Settings for Galleries and Albums You can now choose from several built-in sort order presets. Normally, the images in the gallery would be shown in the order you set them in your gallery (using drag and drop) but we’ve heard from several users that enabling additional sort order options would be the “bees knees”, so of course we had to give you that option:) Below are examples of the new … Read more…

Two Free WordPress Themes for Photobloggers (Video)

A few days ago Themeshaper announced the release of Boardwalk and Cubic, two beautiful new themes that display image-specific content in very unique ways. Because we’re always on the lookout to share tools that our Photography and Photoblogger uses can take advantage of, we decided to play with with a bit and show you how great they work with FooGallery and FooBox. Here’s a video overview of both themes and a really cool way to not only use FooBox to open the images contained within the posts but also to open these posts within FooBox itself. Critical FooBox Update for NextGEN Gallery Users

*** Please share this post to help spread the word *** For All FooBox & NextGen Users Today, NextGen 2.0.7.1 was released with some new updates and changes. One of the changes involved the way in which lightboxes are registered within NextGen. In short FooBox broke because it was relying on the old way that NextGen was doing things. The bad news is that this will break your wp-admin completely. The good news is that your front-end is not affected and your site visitors will see no interruption. Steps to Get Around the Issue Before It Affects You 1. Update … Read more…

We strongly encourage other developers to get involved and create their own gallery templates and extensions. We’ve included several features as extensions and Albums is no exception.
